More than just events

Since June 2026, GLIU has grown into a social club of more than 300 women, with over 150 already joining an event. Behind the scenes, one person brings the plans together with some brilliant venues and volunteers across Leuven.

The goal is bigger than filling a calendar: to shape GLIU into a real social club where new faces become familiar ones.

How we keep this space welcoming

The events may be planned, but the atmosphere comes from the people who show up. GLIU works best when everyone brings a little openness, curiosity and willingness to join in.

You do not need to be especially outgoing or instantly click with everyone — just come ready to meet people and add something positive to the room.
